The Pre-Tribulation Paradox

Pre-Tribulation Paradox

This short video presents one of the best scriptural arguments I’ve ever heard against the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture.

Pre-tribulation rapture advocates claim that 1st Thessalonians 5 begins a completely new subject that is fully disconnected from 1st Thessalonians 4:16-17. This video exposes an inescapable paradox that arises when adhering to that line of thought.

The Pre-Tribulation Paradox

“Immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken. [Matthew 24:29 NET]

Tribulation

A biblical definition of the gathering (rapture): The rapture is the part of the resurrection for those who will be alive at the time of Christ’s return to be gathered to Him. Those who are dead in Him are already with Him [1 Thessalonians 4:13-18].

  1. Revelation 10:7 KJVS
[7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The mystery of God is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

    Colossians 1:26-27 KJVS
[26] Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: [27] To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

When the seventh angel begins to sound, that is the last trump, 1 Co 15:52, 1 Th 4:16, and at that point the body of Christ meets the Lord in the air in their glorified bodies.

    1 Corinthians 15:42-44 KJVS
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: [43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: [44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Note the word glory in verse 43, that is the hope or our expectation we walk towards.

  2. Sign of the woman is to appear in the sky Sept. 23, 2017.

    Revelation 12:1 KJVS
[1] And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

From my investigations it looks like the sign of the woman as described in Re 12:1, will appear in the night sky on Sept. 23, 2017? Plan accordingly. Luke
