All Scripture from the NASB

These have been the Scriptural foundations for my prophetic study.

P2ALM [Psalm 2]. Christ is coming back. Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing?  (2)  The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,  (3)  “Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!”  (4)  He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.  (5)  Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying,  (6)  “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”  (7)  “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.  (8)  ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.  (9)  ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”  (10)  Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth.  (11)  Worship the LORD with reverence And rejoice with trembling.  (12)  Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

Prophecy is for the benefit of God’s people. “But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.  [Mark 13:23]

God has a plan. “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.  [Acts 3:19-21]

God reveals His plan to His people. Surely the Lord GOD does nothing Unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets.  [Amos 3:7]

God has appointed a time for everything. There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven–  [Ecclesiastes 3:1]

God has appointed an end. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.  [2 Peter 3:9-10]

God declares the end from the beginning. “Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;  [Isaiah 46:9-10]

Christ tells us to be ready for His return. “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.  [Matthew 24:42]

It is good to search out matters. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.  [Proverbs 25:2]

Those who heed prophecy are blessed. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.  [Revelation 1:3]

We have been in the Last Days since Pentecost in the Book of Acts. But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words. “For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only the third hour of the day; but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: ‘AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,’ God says, ‘THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS; EVEN ON MY BONDSLAVES, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, I WILL IN THOSE DAYS POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT And they shall prophesy. ‘AND I WILL GRANT WONDERS IN THE SKY ABOVE AND SIGNS ON THE EARTH BELOW, BLOOD, AND FIRE, AND VAPOR OF SMOKE. ‘THE SUN WILL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND GLORIOUS DAY OF THE LORD SHALL COME. ‘AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.’  [Acts 2:14-21]

Encouragement. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered; He raised His voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, Who has wrought desolations in the earth. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariots with fire. “Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold.   [Psalm 46]
