It would seem there are two worldly forces seeking global rule: the Western Elite and Islam. Both are fueled by religion. One may not admit it.
The New Western Age. The motivation behind the New Western Age has been around since Babel [Gen 10-11]. It is mostly the Western World pushing for global dominance through organizations such as the UN, the EU, global banks and many others. The NWA is founded upon the lie in Genesis 3:5. It is the oldest lie in the world yet it is the basis for the New Age Religion – man can be a god. Even atheism, which denies the supernatural, falls into this category in that atheists believe man is the decider of all truth therefore being god of himself.
There is a rising belief in the West that all monotheistic religion should be eradicated from the face of the earth. I have personally interacted with many people online who have used those exact words. Surprisingly, some were even practicing Buddhists. Atheists et al blame all wars, violence and suffering in the world on monotheism, ultimately placing the blame at the feet of God.
The West is also inclined toward a collectivist mentality. This collectivism is what makes the New Age Religion so attractive – an impersonal, collective, cosmic conscience that New Agers believe we all belong to. The attraction is that this way of thinking still allows man to be a god in that he is unaccountable to anyone. The New Age religion is, in essence, the worship of man, each individual man ultimately worshipping himself.
The NWA looks for control of the world through a scientific dictatorship. The Theory of Human Evolution is its engine. Humanistic science claims we are only animals. Therefore, we can practice such things as homosexuality, euthanasia, abortion, war, genocide, etc., without any real consequence. Though Human Evolution in reality is false, peer review and scientific consensus have taken the place of actual scientific fact. The beginnings of this scientific dictatorship are emerging.
Islam. Islamic migration and dominance is increasing around the globe and it is being welcomed by our world leaders in the name of tolerance (defying all good sense). Islam is the only religion in the world that actively seeks to kill, and is killing, Christians and Jews. Its only purpose is the spreading of Sharia Law, a complete government system (in simple terms), with demonic spiritual inspirations. Islam hates the Western world and when you consider there is an Islamic Mosque built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and it is at war over the land of Israel, you can safely come to the conclusion that Islam is clearly part of Satan’s plan concerning his world.

2009 First Year of Global Governance
In anticipation of a successful global warming conference and a world-wide carbon tax at Copenhagen in 2009, EU President Van Rompuy announced 2009 as the first year of global governance. The talks failed after the leaking of e-mails between British university professors describing how global warming was a sham and data was deliberately manipulated to fit their agenda (the scandal became known as Climategate. Look it up). The sharing of the world’s resources is one of the foundations of the New Age Religion. What this means is that, according to the New Age Movement, we almost had a world-wide religion as well! Even scarier, most Americans let alone Christians don’t even know this happened. Van Rompuy’s premature comments are a demonstration of just how bad the world really wants it.

Even though he undoubtedly means a world ruled by Sharia Law, it is still amazing to hear the allusion coming from him. How is it that these opposing forces seem to inherently know there is a new age upon us? They know because the truth is, there is a New Age coming. It is Christ’s Kingdom on earth [Matt 12:32]. Since Satan is powerless to stop it, he disguises this innate human sense of a new age as the New Age of Human Enlightenment that will be brought about by man and a few angelic helpers. In reality, this enlightenment is nothing but the darkest darkness [Acts 26:18, Mat 6:22-23]. Christ is the only true Light of the World and we, as followers of Christ, also share that same Light [John 8:12, 9:5, Matt 5:14].
Theory based on current world trends and Bible prophecy. I once heard someone say when something is otherwise inexplicable and Bible prophecy can explain it, perhaps it is something worthy of our attention. I intend to show you that Bible prophecy does, indeed, speak of these two forces in the last days. I have provided a concise theory below.
It seems the NWA is allowing Islam to spread, perhaps using it to disrupt and destroy the current free systems of government in order to bring about the change we so often hear about. I believe the NWA, in it’s arrogance, severely underestimates the power of Islam’s hate. It will backfire. There’s a coming war between these two ideologies. In fact, it has already begun. The NWA wants to destroy all monotheistic religions. Islam is a monotheistic religion that teaches conversion or death. There will be a showdown between Islam and this New Western Age. The NWA will lose. Both see Israel as a roadblock to their agendas. Christians and Jews will be caught in the middle. From this perspective, Islam et al will persecute Christianity [Rev 13:7].
Let me lay the conflict out for you below.
NWA = No God/God within
Islam = God without
NWA = tolerate/eradicate monotheistic religion
Islam = convert or die
