The world witnessed yet another Islamic rampage in Paris recently, and responded with a large rally in support of free speech rather than denouncing the Islamic ideology that inspired the attack. Soon after, Duke University, one of the highest rated academic institutions in the country, made the decision to allow the Muslim Students Association to broadcast the Friday Islamic call to prayer over the campus’ bell tower. They said it was due to their “commitment to religious pluralism.” Duke has since changed their mind, citing “security threats.” Islam continues to advance in violent and non-violent ways, and the West seems to have no understanding what is taking place or how to respond.

I want to share with you my thoughts on why the world has no answer to Islamic Jihad. It’s something that wasn’t discussed on the program. First, I want to say that The Christian Worldview is an excellent radio program that I recommend every Christian get acquainted with and what I want to share is in no way meant to be disrespectful to what is an excellent and informative ministry. However, there’s a far weightier reason why the world has no answer to Islamic Jihad that is only now beginning to be discussed in Christian circles.

Consider, all of the nations Christ physically judges upon His return are listed in the Old Testament prophets by name and they are all located in the Middle East not Europe or anywhere else. And why is Christ judging these nations when He returns in Bible prophecy? He’s judging them because they are marching together on Israel at the time of the end under the leadership of the Antichrist. And what religion occupies these nations? That religion is Islam.

We’re watching the culmination of the original enmity between Isaac and Ishmael (Sarah and Hagar) that started way back in Genesis 16. This family feud that started as a result of Abraham’s sin is the origin of Middle East conflict and the foundation for understanding eschatology. Just as Christ came through the line of Isaac, the Antichrist will come through the line of Ishmael from whose line Islam came.

The only explanation for the West’s continual denial and seemingly nonsensical yet enthusiastic embracing, to its own detriment, of all things Islam despite Islam’s obvious and well-stated intention to subjugate the entire world is a spiritual one. It’s a spiritual phenomenon. It is the deluding influence of 2nd Thessalonians that coincides with the arrival of the lawless one – the Antichrist.

Now regarding the arrival of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to be with him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to be easily shaken from your composure or disturbed by any kind of spirit or message or letter allegedly from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord is already here.

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not arrive until the rebellion comes and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, and as a result he takes his seat in God’s temple, displaying himself as God. Surely you recall that I used to tell you these things while I was still with you. And so you know what holds him back, so that he will be revealed in his own time. For the hidden power of lawlessness is already at work.

However, the one who holds him back will do so until he is taken out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will destroy by the breath of his mouth and wipe out by the manifestation of his arrival. The arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles and signs and false wonders, and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved. Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned. [2nd Thessalonians 2:1-12 NET]

Surely, the Quran is the false Bible, the corruption thereof, encouraging millions of people worldwide to await, pledge allegiance in thought and deed to [Revelation 13:16-17] and line up behind its prophesied savior, the Mahdi, who is the biblical Antichrist. Yes, Islam has end-time prophecy, too, and it is the exact opposite of Christian end-time prophecy.

What we’re watching is the world reeling chaotically because it is coming face-to-face with, trying to control and trying to produce a solution for something that it doesn’t recognize, has no belief in, and cannot be solved by anyone but a returning Jesus Christ.

Please research these things for yourself. There’s a reformation in Bible prophecy happening and for good biblical reason. It’s time for the Church to wake up.
