After doing social work for a number of years, I know what redirection looks like. It’s a technique used to change someone’s focus or attention to something else when you don’t want them to continue to think what they’re thinking or do what they’re doing. Some synonyms for redirect include alter, avert, deflect and modify.
Of course, the assumption is you are redirecting behavior because the person is thinking or doing something he shouldn’t. However, in this case it’s being used to redirect our attention away from the truth.
The very good question:
Do you know why certain people keep redirecting our attention toward a YouTube video as the cause of the recent Islamic violence?
It’s a 3-part reason which is ultimately spiritual.
The alarming reason:
It is the agenda of our current government leadership to limit our 1st Amendment right to free speech. Part of this limiting includes controlling what is posted on the internet. This has been going on for some time.
The more alarming reason:
It’s no coincidence that there is a video about Islam being blamed. It is the goal of Islam to make it illegal for anyone anywhere in the world to criticize it. That’s Sharia. In fact, that is what the recent riots in the Middle East are all about.
The most alarming reason:
Ultimately, the reason why a video about Islam is being blamed, why an increasing majority of current news events even involve the religion of Islam at all, and why Islam has been allowed to thrive and receive such favor around the world in spite of its consistent example of hatred toward anything other than itself is spiritual. This is also why a majority of people, which I’m sad to say includes Christians, do not fully grasp the importance or significance of these things.
The Eternal Perspective
Just as God’s chosen people are the Jews, Satan’s chosen people are the Middle Eastern gentiles. Just as Jesus came through the Jews, the Antichrist will come through the Middle Eastern gentiles. This conflict has been highlighted throughout the Bible starting in the Book of Genesis and continues to this day [Genesis 3:15].
Consider, that every nation that Jesus does battle with upon His return is listed in the Old Testament by name and is currently occupied by Islam.
Islam is Satan’s chosen religion that he will use to propel his man to power and the Middle East is the base of that power. In fact, Middle Eastern Gentiles are actually excited about the coming of the biblical Antichrist because they believe him to be their prophesied savior and they are waiting to pledge their allegiance to him. The revived Islamic Caliphate on the lips of so many in the Middle East today will be the Antichrist’s future kingdom.
Knowing these things, how will this affect the spiritual decisions you make for you and your family?

Remember, “Muslim” is only the name given to a person who is under the influence of Islam. God desires all men to be saved and if He would be gracious enough to allow us to turn the tide on the cultivation of Sharia law here in our own countries, I believe it will be through witnessing to Muslims about Jesus Christ [1 Timothy 2:1-6]. As I’ve stated before, our battle is not with flesh and blood but with the spiritual forces of wickedness [Ephesians 6:12].
Remember, Christ has already won the war. There’s just one last battle left which takes place throughout our lifetime as Christians. And if you don’t know Him yet, I encourage you to take a good, honest look. He is salvation for all those who believe and the reason why we are not to worry about these things.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation
but I find this topic to be actually something that
I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me.
I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
i appreciate your kind comments, Hellen, and i’m glad to have you as a reader. Glory to God!
Let me know if can i help you in your understanding in some way.
