Erroll Southers is a former FBI agent and homeland security specialist. He was chosen by the Obama Administration to lead the Transportation and Safety Administration. He withdrew his nomination in 2010 amidst a scandal where he abused his authority during an investigation and lied to Congress and the White House way before his nomination.
What’s he up to today? Glad you asked. As of April 18th, 2012, he was named as a new member of the Bipartisan Policy Center for Homeland Security Project to “provide expert analysis on the evolving nature of terrorism and will develop solutions to improve the nation’s preparedness for terrorist threats.”
